BOOKINGS / RESERVATIONS

To make an Internet Reservation ,please print the reservation form (by clicking on RESERVATION FORM) and fax it to our office in Pretoria at Fax no. +27 12 346 7564.

Reservations are subject to availability and our usual conditions of rental. Confirmation of your booking should always be obtained.

Make sure you receive a confirmation fax or e-mail.

PLEASE READ THE CONDITIONS OF RENTAL BELOW BEFORE FAXING THE RESERVATION FORM

1. All major credit cards accepted.
2. Renter or nominated Driver must possess an un-endorsed, valid driver's licence that has been valid for a minimum of 3 years.
   International or Country of Origin Driver's licences are accepted and must be produced on acceptance of vehicle.
3. Minimum age for Renter and Driver is 23 Years, maximum (driver) 75 years.
4. When T&CDW is accepted the following excess normally applies: 10% of damage due to accident or 15% of loss due to theft/hijack,
   or as listed in the latest rate sheet under normal remaining excess - whichever is the greater; personal property not covered.
   In case of negligence or irresponsible behaviour on the part of the renter/driver, however, the renter will be responsible for full damage irrespective of cover accepted.

5. Extension of rental must be arranged to eliminate driving without insurance and without lawful permission.
6. Rates are subject to change without prior notice and vehicles are hired subject to our Standard Form of Agreement.
7. Rates include normal maintenance but not petrol.
8. Distances are calculated from depot and back to depot.
9. Rentals are charged per 24 hours. Late return of a vehicle will result in being charged a further day.
10. One way hire can be arranged within the Cape Town/Pretoria/North Rand/Airport area.
11. All fines received during hire period are for the account of Renter.
12. Delivery and/or Collections, on arrangement, within the Cape Town/Pretoria/North Rand/Airport area.
13. Damaged or stolen tyres, rims, trims & glass will be replaced at the Renter's expense, irrespective of what insurance cover has been accepted.
14. No vehicle may be taken across the South African borders without the prior written permission of PENDER Car Rental.
15. All speedometers are sealed and if they are found to have been tampered with, a minimum charge of 1000 km/day will be charged, plus original kilometres driven.
    All discounted, special weekly, monthly and weekend rates will become null and void.
16. In the unlikely event of a breakdown PENDER Car Rental will not be responsible for hotel or other accommodation expenses.
    Refunds will be made at PENDER Car Rental's discretion and only for the time lost while the vehicle is under repair.
17. Renter is responsible for maintaining the vehicle during the rental period by regularly checking oil, water and tyres.
    PENDER Car Rental is only responsible for normal wear and tear.
    PENDER Car Rental will reimburse any expenditure reasonably incurred by Renter in rectifying any mechanical failure of the vehicle,
    provided that the consent of PENDER Car Rental is first obtained (for repairs over R500 per rental) and that proper receipts are produced by Renter.
18. PENDER Car Rental reserves the right to terminate a rental agreement at any time at PENDER Car Rental’s discretion.
